I'll start two Moon Creek poetry readings this week, the first two. I'll be reading my poems.
The first reading will be held at the local Dublin Library. I have always enjoyed this library, from its days as a small old building to its current form as a lovely modern space, facing a scenic forest with an amazing waterfall trail. May I ask a favor? Please share this with your friends, especially those who often visit our local Dublin library.
Moon Creek Poetry Reading by Susanna Enso (my pen name)
Date: Wednesday, June 26th, 2024Time: 1:00 - 1:30 pm EST (I'll stay until 2:00 pm)Venue: Columbus Metropolitan Library Dublin BranchAddress: 75 N High St, Dublin, OH 43017Notes: Walk-in, no book selling allowed in the library.
I took pictures everywhere, one is here at the bottom.
The second reading is virtual and will be held on Zoom at my Moon Creek Zen Garden. I'll sit on an oak chair in front of an oak table, with the background featuring the little green panda bamboo I surprisingly discovered at the Oakland Nursery. Bamboo is a "must" for my Zen Garden, creating a gentle rustling sound as the wind whispers and casting beautiful shadows on the ground. It is still small, but I hope you will see it on my screen.

I was hoping to find another young person to read my poetry, but he politely declined. So, I will read. A book veteran told me that the poet is supposed to read their own poetry, despite my foreign accent. For the business consulting side, I'm fine.
Mr. AI also said, "A poet reading their own poems offers authenticity, emotional depth, personal connection, interpretive insight, and preserves the original voice, making the experience more engaging and impactful."
My poetry website, www.SusannaEnso.com, has just been updated. You are welcome to browse it if you're considering joining my Moon Creek readings.
I hope 30 minutes in Moon Creek will be a joyful experience for you and a confidence boost for me. I'm preparing for the poetry readings together with Diane Frank, a renowned poet living in San Francisco, and playing the cello, which I don't know how to play but enjoy listening to. She read more and I read less.
I look forward to seeing some of you in person or on Zoom for the first time.
