Poetic Images
A Visual Sequence of Stillness, Time, and Presence.
Poetic Images
Poetic Images is a sequence of visual meditations where image, silence, and time unfold together.
Rooted in East Asian poetic sensibility yet articulated through a contemporary visual language,
these works do not narrate stories but invite states of attention.
Figures, animals, water, snow, and moonlight appear not as symbols to decode, but as presences to encounter.
Each image suspends movement at its threshold, allowing the viewer to dwell within stillness.
Rather than representation, Poetic Images proposes a practice of seeing—slow, quiet, and inward—
where meaning emerges through pause.

Seven Stars Over the Sea
A moment where scale dissolves,
and orientation gives way to quiet alignment.

Jade Feet upon Snow
Presence is registered not by form,
but by contact.

White Deer, Listening
An encounter without capture,
where attention replaces possession.

Tracks Along the Winter Stream
What remains is not the body,
but the duration of its passing.

Clarity of Dream
Perception drifts,
and clarity becomes a quiet condition.

Stone House, Moon Creek
A dwelling that marks presence
without claiming space.
The sequence concludes without resolution.
What remains is not an image retained, but a rhythm felt—
of breath, of waiting, of gentle passage.
These works do not ask to be remembered, but to be left intact,
as one leaves a landscape after walking through it.
In this space between image and silence,
the viewer becomes part of the work’s duration.
